MY JOURNEY SO FAR...
In October of 2021 I started making hospital organiser zip lock bags as I had started making some for my own hospital bag for when I was going in to give birth to my little girl. I thought I'd upload them to Etsy not expecting anything to come from it and a few weeks later I got a notification telling me I had a new order. I was so excited and wanted to continue chasing that high of getting a sale so I made some personalised mugs. I put them on Etsy in November and I wasn't prepared for the chaos to come.
I went from 0 orders a day to 20! Everyone was doing their Christmas shopping at this point so I had hundreds of orders in November and December. From starting in November to the end of December I finished my first two months on Etsy with 296 orders while 8 months pregnant and it was so HARD! I had great days but I also had a lot of stressful and down days where I felt I had bitten off more than I could chew but I managed in the end.
Fast forward to today and I'm now 100% in this as a full time business owner and have had over 8K orders and 7K 5 star reviews. I've been featured in small business magazineS and have had my products shown to thousands with thanks to TikTok.
